Reply to First time trying lino cutting by rainbowsprinkles_
I remember doing lino cutting in my grade 9 art class. The carving tool slipped at one point and dug a huge chunk out of the meat of my left thumb. I quietly wandered over to the sink, rinsed it out, wrapped it in paper towel, and kept my thumb tucked in my fist the rest of class.
The chunk was still attached at one end and had decent blood supply, so it eventually reattached and filled back in. I have mixed feelings about lino cutting. . .

This is exactly what I thought when I read the prompt. Same song and everything. I suppose Baby Shark or John Jangle Jingleheimerschmidt would work too.

I have a gecko too, and I find it funny watching him walk or run on a flat surface, because he does it with all his little toes curled up so he doesn't stick.

I was recently in Lebanon, and ate at a restaurant called Le Chef in Beirut because it had been a favourite of Anthony Bourdain. When we were there, we found out it had been heavily damaged in the Beirut blast (August 2020), and that Russell Crowe had donated $5000 on behalf of Anthony Bourdain to help restore the restaurant. The restaurant had a poster up thanking him since the money was a large portion of what they had needed (Lebanon's currency has tanked, so $5000 USD is quite a lot there).

I was just going to say that it looks like a cozy, cold weather meal. Like a bowl your mom would put in front of you after you spent a whole day out in the cold. Looks delicious!
