No I wasn't. And you should get your knee replacement surgery while you're there. It costs more than most make in a year. My daughter got hurt in Canada and we laughed at the doctor apologetically giving us a bill for$98. They gave us copies of the paperwork so we could file it to insurance when we got home and we laughed because out of network had a $5k deductable before it started converting at 80%.

For future reference, oils wash off with soap or are soluble in other less irritating oils. A massage therapist I knew had a rule to not put acting in the outside of the body you wouldn't put inside... Bit the opposite is true too. You could have used any cooking oils to dilute it.

She did establish the finders keepers rule. While plainly personal property isn't respected, this should be valid. However, with how the parents are, planning for that to blow up would be a good idea.

The parent's hypocrisy is amazing. I'm sorry. You're having to deal with this. Sadly the best advice I have is persevere in getting good grades and go to college and get a good career you can get a good job you can support yourself on and you'll have a good life. It will get better. I'm sorry you can't trust your family to not steal from you.

Better camping in the woods than everyone up being trafficked because she was cold and hungry. You made sure she had knowledge and skills to make an educated choice even running away instead of just mindlessly fleeing. And don't think teaching her sterile techniques was a mistake. Better she cuts somewhat safely than randomly. I can't imagine anyone ever thought, "oh, I shouldn't cut necessarily because I could get an infection"

When you're 30 you'll laugh about it and it'll be a funny story you tell at work. People have so many odd hair colors now compared to 30 years ago so just remember confidence sells. Laugh about it and get someone in a salon or beauty supply story to give practical advice.
