Don’t quote me but I think in CT, if you mention a problem twice and they don’t do anything, you can hire someone else and have your landlord pay for it. And also, if you tell someone and than get hurt by the things that you mentioned after mentioning these safety concerns, you can get so much money out of them because they were told that these are safety issues. My dad had the same issue as a landlord, he refused to fix something and than the renter was like well this is a safety issue. So my dad was quick to fix it because it really was

Omg there is an app called meetup that I use for niche groups like this. I know there is a group that meets at this yarn place in Woodbridge but it’s riiiight on the New Haven line. The app is wonderful and has connected me with cool people. And also, if it’s not near a bus line, you can throw out that you are looking for a ride and someone will usually help

Omg I second this. They are very very traditional in the way they serve too, where the man orders for the whole table. One time, there were 6 of us and my dad ordered first and the server just walked away and came back with just the 1 thing because traditionally the man orders for everyone and he was done ordering so she thought that 1 thing was for the whole table. It was funny. But the food is SO good
