Reply to comment by trantheman713 in "Green Mediterranean diet” high in polyphenols and fiber can reduce that visceral fat. After 18 months, those subjected to the diet saw a visceral fat reduction of 14 percent; eaters of the Mediterranean Diet saw a 7 percent drop. Visceral fat among “healthy eaters” was reduced by 4.5 percent by Wagamaga
If my weekly meat consumption is 3 kilos and I eliminate the red meat bringing my weekly consumption down to 2 kilos, then my overall meat consumption is reduced. If I replace that with a kilo of fish or fowl, then overall meat consumption is not reduced. Does the diet say to replace the red with non-red?
Fish and fowl are demonstrably healthier than red meat and are better for you. Increasing non-red meat consumption would be beneficial despite your vegan protestations.

Reply to comment by Exeunter in TIL that the dogs in competitive agility don’t rehearse the course ahead of time. The courses are randomized at each competition, and the trainers (without their dogs) only see the layout beforehand on the same day. When the dog runs the course they are literally seeing it for the first time. by Pyraunus
Put any other breed against a border collie in agility and you’re probably gonna have a bad time.
Unless that dog is Lobo.

They are as loyal as they are feisty. My mom owned several in her life and they were amazing dogs.
One she got shortly before I had knee surgery that laid me up for weeks. This little pup would curl up on my chest and fall asleep. Epic bonding. When I eventually left for college, he slept in my room almost exclusively.

In the US, one can shit in a bucket and send it in. The company is ColoGuard. It’s an alternative to colonoscopy but the drawback is a colonoscopy is every 10 years while the poop-bucket is annual.
