Likely hedging their bets. GM was fighting against fossil fuel and pollution legislation when they were producing their first electric cars in the 90s. If the regulations went through, they'd be ready. As soon as their lobbying killed the legislation, they had all the electric cars crushed.

okay so this doesn't actually match with my experience. If you fail an inspection, you'll be in the system and it will say you failed, so when you go to another place it will indeed say that you failed but that doesn't stop them from just re-inspecting your car. I did exactly this. My car failed inspection at a dealer, but passed at an independent place.

yeah, PF doesn't have regular barbells. Instead they have smith machines, which are barbells on a guide that you can rack at any point if you need to. You put plates on them same as you would a barbell. I squat and deadlift with them just fine.

I mean I had my doubts, but I've found that Planet Fitness really isn't bad at all. And its as cheap as you're going to find.

For your own sake, its better to just let it go. Keep aware, head on a swivel, trust no one, and don't get mad if no one got hit. No blood, no foul. Otherwise you're just going to make yourself crazy getting worked up over this.

I wear a Burton Covert snowboard jacket, though I don't actually snowboard. Its a great jacket from late fall, through winter and into early spring because its made to be layered. In the dead of winter, with a wool sweater underneath, I'm sweating while shoveling, but unlayered I'm still wearing it in March.
