I genuinely don’t believe you’ve been through these tragic events you speak of because you would know that the evil in this world is true. If you’re willing to roll over and die to any threat so be it. But humans typically have self preservation instincts for a very good reason and there is nothing morally wrong about standing up to the evil in this world.

You are conveniently glossing over that the aggressors are taking lives. If you don’t fight back, you lose everything including lives. If you do fight back you have a shot of not losing the lives of your loved ones.

You can sit on that pseudo moral hill all you want. But I imagine you’ve never been properly punched in the face let alone had your life or the lives of your loved ones threatened. It’s very easy to be pious in a comfy basement with no threat.

Sure, just sitting back and letting your country get bombed to extinction and letting the initial aggressor take everything from your people is the move.

My M8 did the same! First one was a battery swell up until death. Then they replaced it and the second one’s charging port burned up. Gave up on it at that point.

I had a buddy that was a delivery driver for them when I was in college. He would bring home those circles of slop and I could just SMELL the grease lol. Never needed to taste it again to remember what I tasted years before.

Or it was just horrendous pizza when I had it last lol. It’s always been notoriously greasy. Like they deep fried the crust.

Yeah if I’m getting cheap pizza I’ll just get Little Caesar’s since it all tastes similar. If I’m getting decent pizza I’ll just get the local place down the road. Nice little family restaurant that makes a really good pizza.

Fair point, just was never a popular option in my area and is largely irrelevant where I’m from. Never knew it was the second biggest pizza chain until today.

That is baffling to me. I haven’t had Pizza Hut since I was a kid. My unrefined palate back then could still taste the 7 quarts of month old oil dripping off of the crust lol.

I think in tech we generally have an expectation of things getting cheaper and more available with lower barrier to entry. It’s not always guaranteed but we have gotten used to it so things like this don’t really strike a surprising chord with people.

Absolutely, there are great reasons to either like or dislike iPhones and having productive discussions about those reasons on a public forum is really a way to try and bring visibility to the issues and preferences.

I would imagine that people falling asleep at the wheel and hitting a telephone pole or in a ditch in a rural area would be a situation that stands out and would be somewhat common. Also, relying on people to stop and help is not really a great option. Many many people would just drive on by.

It’s not downvoting for fanboyism. It’s downvoting blind haters. There is a comment with plenty of upvotes with actual suggestions and ridiculing lack of a feature to tell disable. The downvotes are for people saying “dur hur Apple so bad”.
