Mhm. If you note the downvotes I'm getting, the "intolerant fucks" are here in this thread. I wouldn't want to come to any of them if I was in need. A lot of my identity, including being a queer woman with a functioning uterus, is politicized and demonized by a lot of people like that.

Or even "idc if you don't believe in a god at all, we're forcing you to partake in religion in hopes you'll cling to it bc we know you're hungry/unhoused". What a fucking disgrace. Honestly culty. You wanna help people, genuinely? Help them without pushing your fairy tales onto them.

Agreed that Knoebels will get you more for your buck. It's also dog friendly, if that's a plus for you. I believe Weis also has discounted tickets for DelGrosso amusement park and water park in Tipton (north of Altoona), although I'm unsure if that's good for younger kids. If none of this is helpful, my bad!

As someone who was bullied relentlessly for being autistic aka "the different weirdo kid" and plenty of homo/bi phobia as a queer person, this shit makes me wanna puke. My daughter will be a year old soon and I'll make damn sure to teach her empathy and general kindness is important. Break the cycle, folks.

ETA - I also used to live in Enola as a kid (my parents shared custody between Harrisburg and there), so this hits home.
