It’s probably all going according to waste disposal protocols, but the fact that the EPA had to stop and review the plans… like, is that not part of the protocol, and they just did it because it’s optics?
Can the EPA quit it with the optics? We don’t need the head to nervously pretend to sip water or for the agency to pretend to order people around.

I think Winco does as well, but it's been a while since I've shopped there.
Ethnic grocers don't have chairs, even if it’s the ethnic owner running the checkout, so it's not necessarily just a US thing.

What would have been a normal fist fight is now a mass shooting, which while could be solved by giving up guns is now to be solved by an army of shrinks materializing out of thin air paid by taxes that no one wants to pay to solve poverty and bullying and mental illness… and domestic disputes.
And I’m sure a grand total of 0 responsible gun owners reading this while in a domestic dispute are going to responsibly seek couples therapy due to this event.

Usually racism/classism. It starts off as icky black poors, let’s move. Then it just spirals downward because generational poverty worsens things, I.e. whole cities without a tax base to fund their infrastructure.
But now people take no responsibility for their fellow people by saying municipal mismanagement. Thanks conservative scholar shits!

The only issue with Jackson is that “too many” black people live there. Once they are tortured enough to leave, then that’s great real estate again for Republicans.

The sad thing is that the state is probably waiting for the city to become abandoned, and then fix it for all the white government officials.
This isn’t a normal process at all.

The water heater contractor was telling me how his grandfather was swapped out for someone else. Granted a lot of people were dying of covid (including the grandfather), but mixing up bodies is utter bullshit given what funeral homes charge. In any case, he was able to check.

They’re not necessarily stupid in that regard. Saturday voting could still turn out more Warnock voters than Walker even in red counties. So although voting is more inconvenient in red counties, Republicans would still come out ahead.
