Theyre weirdly rude. It wasn't awful i think its kind of an act, but i wouldn't recommend it given your original post. The Druid is great, New Republik is pretty solid, Thirsty Scholar too. All in Inman Square. If you enjoy video games, Roxys aka 4rcade in Central sq. Is pretty solid too for a relatively friendly vibe and you can get some good grilled cheese too

I'm all for it so long as the ads are strictly for things inside the city. Don't care about stuff in Somerville or Boston. Always down to support local business or events

Good on calling her out but you shouldn't be following someone home. Lucky it didn't escalate to something worse. Tf is wrong with people? Obviously not OP

I stand corrected. I misread the law and I apologize for that.
However, for all of the laws that your insufferable community break on a literal daily basis see Ch. 85 sec. 11b
"When riding on public ways, bicyclists must obey the same basic traffic laws and regulations that apply to motor vehicle operators."
You want to ride in front of cars or however you want and act like the world revolves around you, its on you whatever happens. In all Seriousness though, stay safe out there. Contrary to popular belief noone wants to see anyone hurt

And you are REQUIRED BY LAW to move over when there is space to do so. City spends ungodly amounts of money to build you people bikes lanes to ride in and you want to be everywhere else but them. They take away parking and left and right turning and all sorts of shit and you wanna ride in the middle of the street anyway. You people are insufferable

🤣🤣🤣🤣 I love how pointing out the fuckery and hypocrisy that goes on in the bike community someone is labeled a Karen lol but thats par for the course with you people these days. Anything against EXACTLY what YOU believe is met this way but it's ok
Born and raised here and have lived here for over 30 years. How long ago did you move here? 2 years ago? 3?
It's cool though, you're not interested in reality you're only interested in "your truth"
Stay delusional, stay safe

I'm so far from a fuckin boomer it's not even funny but go ahead and assume

"God knows" can be used as an expression you fuckin clown
-
Plenty of people care and see you asshats doing that shit all the time but please keep your biased blinders up and when you and your types get hit don't complain about car drivers
-
You people are insufferable and delusional
-
Cyclists get hurt because they think the world revolves them and rules don't apply and they can ride however they want with no consequences. Play stupid games you win stupid prizes. Car drivers aren't blameless by any means, but you are just as much at fault for how some of you choose to ride. But insert higher being here knows accountability isn't in your vocabulary
But please do keep your head up your ass and stay safe out there

No, I mean when they ride right through a red light disregarding the traffic actively going through the intersection. Doesn't matter how safely you go through it. A red light is a red light and bikes are required by law to stop and wait for the green light like everyone else. But God knows how important they all are and can't be bothered with such things

Reply to 'Harvard Square was never what it used to be' by GlobeOpinion
If lived here all my life (30 + years) and It's definitely lost a lot but there is still some good there, though mostly from a nostalgic view. I used to go out drinking there all the time, can't anymore because all the good bars/"clubs" are gone now and because Harvard kids are insufferable when they drink lol.
I still occasionally swing through Newbury comics "for old time sake" to see what kind of cool weird shit I can find in there. It's nice to go sit in the park and people watch still. Felipes and Charlie's Kitchen are still good places to go eat. The chains and businesses have taken over for sure but on a nice, mid-spring or a mild summer day it can still be really nice
