Uh, it was always fiction, based loosely on events from Adams childhood. And the show is MWANT to be ridiculous. Beverly is and always has been over the top. I’ll agree the show is past it’s prime, but it has t strayed far from its original premise.

Oh wow- thank you. I hate these shows. Not even so much for anxiety, but because of the sheer ridiculousness and cringe factor.

No, I have not seen this trend. And furthermore, why do you care? Imagine the years and years that a non-white person had to watch commercial after commercial with only white guys.
