Reply to Is Mint Mobile worth a try? by devour2004
Mint’s fine, and more importantly, it’s cheap. I work at MSU and sometimes lose signal at work. I also sometimes lose signal at home. It’s fairly rare, but it never happened on Verizon. However, I’m not paying $50+ per month anymore. If you’re not planning on being in the sticks for any reasonable amount of time I’d call it an upgrade.

Try Campbell Pest Control. Less than $100 and I’ve basically never had a bug problem since I started using them.

Yeah for $3-400K you have your pick of schools and neighborhoods. I have a couple of friends in the Wanda Grey neighborhood and they love it.

I’m old enough to remember “parents need to parent” as an argument for abstinence-only sex ed or getting rid of sex ed entirely. What we’ve eventually discovered is that people don’t want to parent, they want to hide uncomfortable things from their kids. Unfortunately all that which is hidden will eventually be uncovered, generally in unhealthy ways.

IIRC it’s not automatic, it’s an “appeals process.” Which given who’s in charge and who will probably remain in charge for the foreseeable future, I can’t trust that as far as I can throw it.

Yeah I’ll be holding my nose voting for it because it doesn’t expunge the records of those convicted of marijuana offenses. But at least we can stop the bleeding a bit.

Bawi is Korean BBQ so there’s really no comparison, but I had Everyday Thai once and the service was so bad I’ve never been back. Food was cold, servers were standing around talking to each other while there was food visible on the kitchen counter. Ruined the date of a friend who was with us.

Yeah there are very few “dangerous” neighborhoods in SGF in my experience, and even those are fine. Just lock your doors. People only look after themselves and their shit, no one’s trying to take yours. Especially if you’re broke.

I and my fiancé will be voting yes much more proudly even than for the marijuana legalization (still pisses me off it won’t automatically expunge MJ convictions). People need housing and if more people want to live there then housing needs to be built, otherwise rents will keep skyrocketing.

Why are the developers greedy for building housing and the galloway residents not greedy for using the power of the law to make their neighborhood stay the same forever?
