I would do a Zillow search cause not only can you search by price range but you will literally be able to see the location and it's surrounding area. Keep in mind the "cheaper areas" are more than likely rundown with not a lot to do, not many jobs, etc. I'd find somewhere cheaper but has potential or close to a decent city.

State College is a lot of fun no matter your age. The college kids are very respectable and keep to themselves. The downtown is fun to walk through, visits the shops and restaurants plus, the walk around downtown and even throughout campus can be a good "hike" as it's a big area. If you do down Altherton Street in State College, it will lead you to all kinds of shopping centers and other places to eat. There are also a bunch of winery's in the State College area that you can visit. It's kind of a hidden gem of a place that I always encourage people to visit.

You could also take a drive to Bloomsburg, Pa which is quaint college town with a nice downtown area with some really great restaurants. There are many winery's within that area too. The next town over, Berwick, while it gets a bad wrap, there are so fun places to go there, too. And, since you're so close, you could drive to the infamous Centralia aka as the internet deemed it, Silent Hill, just to say you went and looked around. lol

Can you find him on social media? I mean, not his personal profile but on Twitter, IG, or a FB page? If so, I would start hitting that up as it's a public forum and would reflect badly on him to not respond.

He's a total waste though, I know of local police officers that went to him about very important aspects of their job, uniforms, etc. that they needed help with and he completely blew them off. Even as far as to lying that he never spoke to them when he was face-to-face with them again at a local community event. I do believe he helped to keep the factory at the top of town, in Ashland going, though. But, let's be honest, it was so obvious he did it just to get votes and for the news coverage. (as all politicians do)

I live in Pa and also work in healthcare. Medicaid is starting to crack down on a lot of things simply due to the system being so abuse by those who really don't need it. A lot of people in Pa (which I'm sure it's everywhere) live on welfare as a lifestyle not because they actually need the help for one reason or another. So, that puts people, like yourself, in the dark. I have been finding that if you have a consistent track record with a family physician or other doctors and most of your health problems are medically necessary, backed up by said physicians, you should be very okay with getting the care/coverage you need.

As for mental health ... it's far and few between and even once you find somewhere, the waitlist is long. Last year I went to the ER for a severe panic attack, felt like I was having heart palpitations, thankfully I wasn't, it was just my nerves. The PA at the ER made a referral to psych just in case I decided to finally go on anxiety meds. I shit you not, a year and 10 days later, I was called to see if I needed an appointment. I mean, thankfully I have a good support system and have my anxiety in check for the most part but, dear God, what if I were suicidal and in real dyer need of care???

I saw you mention you will be in Allentown. Leigh Valley and St. Luke's are the two biggest providers in the area down there. St. Luke's is starting to do partnership with Geisinger so, I'm losing faith in St. Luke's. Geisinger is a HUGE provider throughout most of Pa with UPMC being the other major provider. Geisinger has some truly amazing physicians and services, HOWEVER, they see most patients as a number or $$$ sign and could give two shits less about actual care. This is coming from not only person and family experiences but now, being on the inside of healthcare, I truly see the bad that they do.

His campaign never even got on a road, lol. The man needs help. There's a padded cell with his name on it somewhere. He makes Trump look like a calm cool collected person. I'm not even saying that to be mean, there's something mentally unstable with him.

I don't mind the signs even if they are obnoxiously placed but I'm all for the TV ads to stop.

You would think and hope people applied it to life.
