He really does. Every episode he goes from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows in about 30 seconds flat and he always sells it so well.

I was curious how they were gonna make the revival work, and made note of the many times they mentioned "ten years ago" being when the original show took place (considering it was 15 years ago now). Then they hit us with Ron's "this is gonna be the best year of my life" and then the mention of COVID... damn, what a great setup.
Can't wait to see where the next five episodes go!

It's also a way for them to launder their reputation in the rest of the world. It's why you see so many Saudi and Russian billionaires buying teams or funding leagues overseas overseas.

IIRC the issue with Matthew Fox was never his talent or commitment, but he's well-known to be a bit of an asshole that's hard to work with.

100% true. I've been living up in Alaska for about two years now, and I've seen maybe a dozen moose and I never get used to it. They're freaking dinosaurs.
