Reply to Quickest way to get from Capitol Hill to either Maryland or Virginia so I can place a sports bet? by WillAnderson419
Depends on what station you’re closest to. From there, it’s a matter of picking the line/train with the fewest stations between you and the border.
If that’s Capital South, fastest might actually be to get to L’Enfant Plaza, then take Green Line to Southern Ave station.

It wasn't very useful. What they should have a shuffle button on is on shows that have very self-contained episodes that you don't need to watch in order.

Reply to Is it possible to visit all of the Smithsonian museums in a limited time frame? by LeoTheBirb
All? No. There's Smithsonians outside of DC, like in New York City.
To do all the Mall ones? Yeah, totally doable if you prepare, and you can probably even get some non-Smithsonian time in the National Gallery of Art.
But with a week, you have all the time in the world. Just probably won't get the Castle done because it's scheduled for maintenance.

And old buildings. Old building materials will absolutely reduce signal. Like there's plenty of spots in older museums where I have no cell service if I'm in the interior of the building.

The species will be fine. Humans are really adaptable. Like yeah, people will die from stuff that wasn't really their fault, but that already happens every day.
But we do have a decent idea on how to fix it. There's just a lot of money in not fixing it.

That was Kid Nation, and it was comparatively much better than "troubled teen camps".
And that was at the Bonanza Film Ranch in New Mexico. Same place Alec Baldwin killed that woman.

But the money from safe neighborhoods doesn’t go directly to individual cops’ bonuses.

But at $2 billion, the math does work. Like not much, but the expected value passes the cost of a ticket around there.

Most of those aren't spin-offs, but just shows starring a breakout actor/actors from the previous show. The exception there is Sam & Cat is a spin-off of both iCarly and Victorious. The didn't make it past a pilot Gibby show would also have been a spin-off.

The Amazon side doesn’t even do normal checkout, so it’d be directing people to use the app.
It does probably require employees to actively be stocking shelves.

Reply to comment by u2sunnyday in How much (or little) do you value the importance of awards shows like the Emmys? by unitedfan6191
The writers on those shows had been in the military and fought in wars. Most writers nowadays do not have experience in the military, and it shows when they try to write a military show. Like Space Force was trying to just be The Office, but in the military, and it didn’t really work.
