Eventually Parks will release their map of trees inside of parks. They have one with street trees. I think they need to go through and ensure that the trees are correct as it was put together by volunteers not paid staff. I am sure the Chinese people know where they are, they often pick the onion bulbs and things in the park.

It is now reinforced for safer and easier walking :) some of the wooden boards are recovered from the Coney Island boardwalk, after Sandy tore them up. I forget the type of wood but it is durable. And happy to put people onto it!

Hi thank you for your request :) I found one that the park administrator sent us, it is here as a pdf on our site now and here on imgur. Parks are the best! I also created the park map on our site, crocheronpark.org/park-map - because the original one that Parks had for Crocheron was bleak imo.

Yes, catch and release. There was another dock on the far side fo the pond, it has been swallowed up by the pond during a storm. Hopefully the Boy Scouts Eagle Scout project will help build another one. They built the first a while ago, along with a revamp of the trail.

Yay! Thanks for your comment, hope you enjoy the new paths (around the pond and to the pedestrian bridge) that the Student Conservation Association put together as a project with NYC Parks.

Yes Bell Blvd has great spot - and all accessibly by the LIRR. Press 195 has great fries, sandwiches, and craft beers. Then plenty of Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese, Colombian, Italian, and Greek spots. Bayside is kind of an extension of Flushing in cuisine, some chains and some are family run. T Swirl is tasty for a treat. The Joe Michaels Mile is also fun and can bring you down to the Bayside Marina or Ft Totten Park, if you got some time and legs for walking. And there is a good amount of night life, with sports bars, at least one hookah spot, and places that are kinda dives. The old school Irish bars are there sometimes too. Thanks for asking!

Edit: Thank you to u/TSBii and other anonymous Redditor for the awards! Edit(2) - for the imgur link to the map
