Do you have kids? The elementary schools are zoned by neighborhood so there are of course some that are preferable.

I can say from experience, the area around Great Plain is a pretty solid area. Reasonably quiet, residential side streets. Close to Federal and Padanaram.

Unless you live very near the airport, you would never even know there’s an airport in Danbury. Not sure which baseball fields you mean.

Huge Brazilian population. Also significant Central American population. Overall a good city as far as cities go. 🤷🏻‍♀️

They did. By the Waterbury train station. Doesn’t mean they can’t try. Probably wouldn’t be too hard to narrow down friends and family in Waterbury. Especially if he gives up any info in questioning.

Route 25 is an option but it would put you on 84 at Exit 9 and you’d still hit the major slowdown around 7.

Route 7 might be a better option, you pick it up in Norwalk and it will take you to Exit 3, pretty close to the NY border and theoretically past most of the Danbury traffic. Only challenge is that the speed limit is naturally lower and there are lights. Plus no real opportunities for passing if you get stuck behind that student driver.

Not an expert at all but double check on whether or not you can even file in CT. Sometimes there are residency requirements tied to length of time. My cousin faced these issues a few years ago, but I can’t remember the details. Only that one state where they lived was easier to file than the other - they moved back and forth between VA and CT a few times.
