I mean...the Bulk Barn just up the road carries a Turkish delight for pretty cheap. And a few people downtown do look like half naked goatmen....

YOU TEMPERATE BASTARDS.
It's actually not that bad here. Above freezing most days, but the trails are still melting their way through the snowpack and we got a dusting of snow the other morning that made everything look fresh and winter wonderland-y.

Supposed to be pushing 10 tomorrow, oddly enough.

Yeah, tomorrow morning's going to be a shit show on the roads. They've been pretty liberal about cancelling schools this winter so I'm mentally prepping myself for a day of juggling work and the kids at home.
UPDATE: aaaaaaaand they're closed!

This is an awesome view. I can't imagine what it looks like for that paraglider.

It really is beautiful. I just moved out this way from BC this past summer and, while BC is absolutely stunning scenery-wise, NB beats it hands down in terms of fall foliage. I've been getting out to explore near daily the past few weeks and am continually stunned at how gorgeous it's been.

S'all good, I'm just busting your balls. We actually just moved out this way from lower mainland BC last year. Definitely lots of tradeoffs. Both are honestly pretty pleasant places to live in their own ways.
There's still some nice hiking out here, but I'll definitely be missing the weather and the scenery out your way.
