Reply to Question: in Baltimore, as a current tenant of a property, is it illegal to answer questions from prospective tenants during a property viewing? by karrotkween
I am not an attorney but even if there is some weird clause in your lease I don't think it would be enforceable, especially in a city as tenant-friendly as Baltimore. That said, the landlord could be a petty asshole and try to hold your security deposit if he thought you were turning off any potential tenants so I guess ask yourself if you want the inconvenience. My guess is if they are making up this kind of stuff they'll probably find an excuse to try and keep your security deposit anyway.

I would suggest contacting Live Baltimore and they can help guide you through this process and help you find out any grants you may qualify for . I believe there are some apartment complexes that offer reduced rates for city educators as well. Good luck.

Just be careful or you will end up in a whole mess of trouble like master hacker Dade Murphy, aka Zero Cool, aka Crash Override.

Is the county traffic preference the reason why it takes so long to move east-west from like Hamilton to Woodberry when compared to going down to Fed Hill or something? These lights make no sense, some drives can vary in time from like 20-45 minutes not because of traffic but because of how the lights are tuned. It's crazy.

Reply to As someone new to the area and wanting to get into hiking, any recommendations on where to start and what trails to pursue (with car park)? Also shoe recommendations would be great. Woman with a bit of flat feet here. by BeyondRecovery1
As mentioned by others, Double Rock, North point, and Fort Howard are all great and I'd also add Leakin Park to that list. If you want to venture out a little further Annapolis Rocks is a great day hike near Frederick. Further out still is Old Rag Mountain which is in the Shenandoah Valley and is one of my favorite day hikes. This book has lots of good suggestions as well: 60 Hikes Within 60 Miles: Baltimore

I wonder if the Space Telescope Science Institute (home of the Webb telescope and located in town) does tours.
