Overall, not a fan. I think his COVID response was very good and I give him credit where it’s due. However, I completely despise his continuing attempts to shield his true conservative policy beliefs behind a moderate mask. It’s completely dishonest and intentionally misleading. Moreover, he’s essentially just another corrupt conservative Republican who I have no intentions of voting for, but I’m willing to point out his rear Ws when they come.

Overall, I welcome these changes. Some of the listed licenses are just unnecessarily bureaucratic and frankly pointless. However, I haven’t read much into the bill but on the cosmetology and barbering side, how the hell are we supposed to verify whether someone is a qualified barber??? Are they flat out eliminating those licenses or just revising the boards to make it easier for out of staters to reciprocate?
Honestly just glad they aren’t eliminating licenses for professions where real harm can be done to consumers. (Nurses, doctors, gas license, etc)

I feel like most “conservatives” who move here from southern New England are performing conservative cosplay.

They should honestly just move down south or to the mountain west if they want to live in an actual conservative state. Can’t imagine how fast they’d sprint back to NE after realizing how terrible red America is. Perhaps they’d actually learn (the hard way) to appreciate where they live.

Funny how people like you are still convinced NH is a red state despite almost 25 years of voting mostly blue.
Also, Mass transplants are the most conservative voting bloc in this state. Studies have been done on this and the claim of “red” NH locals being overrun by blue Mass transplants has been long disproven.

I agree. I also think a presidential run would be a way for him to gain more national visibility for a possible future run. Just can’t wait to watch the moderate (ish) establishment conservative Sununu rip the mask off and morph into a Trump brown nosing shill.

Lol thinking he’d win a GOP primary. 😂

Very informative. Thank you! Honestly have no idea how the DNCs hostile behavior toward the NH FITN will necessary impact the state’s attitude toward the party and it’s candidates. Not sure if Democratic and Dem leaning Independents will care enough to justify voting red or not voting at all.

Unfortunately nowadays, the most necessary jobs in this economy that LITERALLY keep society afloat are also the worst paying. Utility workers don’t necessarily make bad money but they deserve way more monetary AND civil respect. 🫡

If I had to take a risky, wild guess with a gun to my head, I would say it’s partially snow packed trees coming down and partially a shitty, outdated grid.

Yeah, but registration/plates are separated from state safety inspections. At least in NH and Mass.
chait1199 t1_j5cdrif wrote
Mass doesn’t require drivers from states without inspection laws to have car inspection verifications. That would be an illegal violation of state sovereignty. The driving to Mass for jobs part is true, given that almost a quarter of the state’s population works down there.

The idea that NH is becoming more liberal because of Mass transplants is verifiably incorrect. Any semblance of voting patterns in ANY election from the past ten years suggest that the native NH population has moved more towards the Dems as the GOP moves further right. The Mass transplants are almost without a doubt the most consistently Conservative voting bloc in the state.
chait1199 t1_ivpjjqy wrote
I guess Republicans are starting to realize how much of a liability Pumpkin Spice Lard ass is to their party. Especially in a state like NH where the population is reasonably educated.
