Ah, thanks. Dad had a thing against what he called mutilations and wouldn't allow it. Wanted everything to be a show cow. We didn't have any technology that needed syncing. Tractors, pitchforks, shovels, buckets, and de Laval.

Is that a disease prevention or ownership? We used to keep track of 150 registered (milk cows and replacement stock) without any marks at all other than vax tattoos.
