Having brothers myself, I've been on both sides of this kind of tomfoolery. Just childishly avoiding/disliking things either of us like just to spite each other

I like to use the same headphones for everything and I'm too inexperienced to even begin playing with the 10+ bands there are in EQ even with oratory's harman curve as a starting point.

I am a total slut for my Zen Can's x-bass though if that counts

Better for a product with questionable QC to come broken than to have it die after the return period or even worse, after the measly 1 year warranty period.

I would not take the chances again if you're even remotely worried about QC

Definitely don't use my wired IEMs anymore when I'm out but no way are these disposable techs replacing my headphones at my desk.
