Yep! Of course if a family member WANTS to pick me up or drop off I probably wouldn’t say no but like, 45-60min in the car or 50-60min on the train depending where you get on… it’s really a great new option. And, I feel like the occasional Metro delay is not as often as rush hour traffic or other driving shenanigans

I don’t think it’s bad per se but I’ve seen other cards that had nicely edited photos (2018/2019 I think?), and this one was just a super intense HDR. Maybe I’m picky because I’m into photography but cherry blossom cards are among the cooler ones Metro puts out each year, so I thought they’d have something better imo.

didn't the AUSA for DC say recently that the reason most cases get dismissed is because of 1) DC's unaccredited crime lab; 2) bad/unconstitutional police work that's being captured on body cams, among other issues?

Obviously it's a complicated issue, but at the end of the day, you have to be able to prove a crime happened in court...

here you go! make sure that if you use rental insurance as proof of address, you use the policy statement/summary, and NOT a bill. Source: I had to argue with the DMV that technically if my renter's insurance bill is mailed to my address, which was my declared address and present on my lease, bank statement, W2, etc, it COULD be for another property. I eventually got the right document but it's always an adventure with them.

Do you intend to work at like, big law firms? I don’t know for sure, but most big law firms want legal interns or law clerks while they’re in law school, so not undergrads.

To be honest, everything in DC is insanely competitive especially for summer internships because people come to DC in the summer JUST to intern here. Maybe try applying for legal/non legal (but in legal setting) internships at non profits during the semester?

Yes, it was certainly worse. I went in 2017 and 2018 and even the handful of photos I have are way better than anything I saw. My girlfriend and I didn’t even walk all the way up from the Rock Creek Park entrance, we stopped maybe halfway to Connecticut Ave because there was barely any lights and of course nothing else to see.

The reason to “let them get away with it” is exactly that, and it doesn’t endorse the cause either. As I said, chasing dirt bikes through the city would almost certainly result in injuries/deaths of bystanders (BECAUSE of the chase), and, there’s like a less than 1% chance that anyone actually gets caught because the maze of alleys and streets that DC is made up of.

Personally, I’d prefer to enjoy the show from my balcony every now and live my life.
