I actually have my own business but it doesn’t take someone being an owner to just state the obvious. I don’t care if they need the money or not. I acutely like supporting the sweet people in the corner store across the street. All I was saying is it’s a zombie business that obviously doesn’t need the cash flow.

People who need their business to make the max amount of funds to pay rent, have great ingredients and pay employees a decent wage are open during peak hours. End of story. If not someone is getting the short end.

Have you walked down the block after 12? There are a ton of parents/ care givers looking for a mid day place before it’s time to pick the kids up, folks that work from home or just someone who wants a desert. Can you go there? No they close at 12. Forget about treats for the kids and coffee for grown folks on their way to the park.

You can barely get a rotisserie chicken at 6 pm or a parking space at 5 because this area is so crowded.

Have you been to Starbucks after work? It’s packed and they are making large amount money. You don’t just leave that on the table daily.

First that is a very busy walk way for people going back and forth to the train or parents taking kids to school or the park, so not being open earlier/ later than 8am - 12pm only makes sense if you aren’t there to make it profitable just sustaining until you get another buyer.

I heard that this business was past from one family member to the other and they aren’t really that interested or need need this establishment. Hence I have seen it closed more times then I have seen it open.

I feel that way about a lot of places downtown just taking up space/ turning the area into a zombie business zone. You see stores but they are rarely open or don’t last long.

Just so you know that place has never really been a “.99” store. Is it a place that may have dollar items here and there but it’s definitely not the Dollar Tree.

Here is a tip: Any place that is packed with items (many with dust on them) and only a few customers there has to be a reason.

People are always asking what store does the area need? The answer is simple a real dollar store.

I love Uniclo but will that make me come to the mall? Not likely. If the mall was smart they would lower the rent in small stores, so mom and pop shops could fill in the gaps. No one really likes the Kiosk junk unless it’s Christmas and your out of time.

Bring in a kids ninja warrior, play area, rock climbing, HomeGoods, Ross, Costco, Dollar Tree and etc. Those stores are always packed, there are a ton of shop with videos online in those store and they are the only ones people are talking about at the PTA, my union, book club or online.

Also if there was a place I could also drop off my laundry and it would be done by the time I was finish shopping that would be the chefs kiss. Make the parking cheaper or free during the week day.

Otherwise malls are dead.

All the places that use to be good are gone now. It’s a shame.

First the name is terrible. I use to order here when I worked the late night shift or wanted a nice bite on a Sunday with the family. It was our go to anytime. Some people just don’t understand what makes a restaurant/ dinner great.

I haven’t been here since the update and will not be going back from the reviews.

What people don’t understand about fare hopping is as long as the Trasit system is not profitable they will find a way to get it from your taxes, tolls, not providing additional services and likely more services will be cut.

There are very few people that are too poor to pay for services as there are programs to help with that.

Like in NYC they have a fare fare card and each ride is about $1.35 for low income people.

The majority of the fare beaters are the ones committing the crimes, tossing the trash all over and causing delays but keep on defending them. This is why things will never get better because there will always be an excuse for bad behavior.
