Since I have no actual experience in this field, I will bow to your presumably superior knowledge.
But my main thesis of using a bag still stands.

Great! One to hold the bag of coconut halves, and the other to open the door.

Back in the 1980s, I would put the baggie with my frozen sandwich on top of my CRT monitor when I got to office in the morning. By lunch time, the sandwich was fully thawed and the bread was crisp and warm.

Do you know why they chose to close the larger of the two? I'm sure there was a good reason, but I was surprised when it happened.

Border Patrol can do stops within X miles (I think it's 100 miles) of a border or international point of entry, which includes the Port of Baltimore, and probably BWI, too.

That doesn't surprise me. But at least they are limiting the fire danger by doing small batches.

County regulation says you can only burn wood in fire pits.

I'd say it's less clear on the man because he did the ears better, but the presence of the boy in the front greatly increases the likelihood that the man in the back is in blackface. The fact that he didn't exaggerate the lips (common in blackface depictions) was the main reason I wasn't certain.

I'm seeing a guy in the back row who might be in black face ... or he might actually be black (and probably a servant). I'm not seeing any others.

In those days, probably. Keep in mind, "The Jazz Singer" which included a black face scene came out 4 years after this photo.

Leaf burning is illegal in all the suburban counties of Md. and has been for many, many years. (I vaguely remember my dad doing it back in the 1960s in PG County.) I wish that wasn't the answer, but I understand why it is.

Since the species is not specified, if it is not a native species this could be a bad to very bad idea for the turtle or the environment. And even if it is native, I'm not sure how well it would do after being captive, and I would be concerned about how well it would be ready for the approaching winter.
