That annoyed me. They tried to package the whole story as "lonely man does all this but still didn't get the girl" because that's something recognisable to Hollywood but it has no truth to it. The woman in the film doesn't even exist.

I hated the deleted scene lol. The dialogue was poor and his whole performance was just talking slowly. Did not feel like the Joker.

That's the first thing I ever saw from Arrested Development in a fuckin gif on Tumblr. Even in shitty gif form it was still entertaining.

I thought the initial "I'll cut my finger off" scene was so absurd it was hilarious. Then I realised he was serious and it got very dark very quickly.
I thought it was great, nothing stupid about it.

Haha man yeah that all nighter seems crazy. If it was 10am to the evening then honestly I'd do it but doing it overnight would be torture!
I booked interstellar a bit late so I've got some shit seats (side front😬) but I couldn't pass it up. I haven't seen the film in IMAX before and figured it was worth it even with the bad seats

Yep ahahah that's exactly it! I've got tickets to Interstellar and will try to catch all 3 Batman films too lol. Annoyingly I can't make the Inception screening because I really wanted to see that one

I will see every one of his movies in cinemas no questions asked. Say what you want but they are events. Seeing Interstellar in IMAX in 2 months, so excited.

Reply to comment by IndyRevolution in Why is it that a lot of TV shows these days have really poor sound mixing by StarChild413
While I get why people criticise his mixes, when it works it really, really works. The Dark Knight and Inception are 2 of the best sound mixes I've ever heard. A lot of the time I rewatch them solely because of the sound.
Tenet took it too far for the most part, and it's caused people to crap on all his movies.

That's because it was useless. That level of randomisation is awful
Randomised episodes within a show - good
Randomised selection of anything on the entire site - awful.
It's like hitting random on porn websites. It's just not something you'd ever do because you risk being subjected to something terrible.

Starlin got more for KGBeast appearing in Batman v Superman (you might not even remember this as iirc he was never referred to with that name) than he did for creating Thanos.

Most disturbing opening I've seen in a while tbh. The way the camera just sits there as you slowly realise what you're watching is horrific and so well done

I loved it for that reason. It had subplots which existed solely to explore themes rather than advance the plot and it's not often I see that in big movies.

At least his is still a fictional story at the end of the day so it's not as bad. I guess every screenwriter writes the high school they wish they had and not the one they got lol.
