Unless you have a history of food restrictions and/or eating disorder. It really is not a panacea when you take into account mental as well as physical health.

I donât know why but âa terrible betrayalâ sums up a lot of our immigration history in my eyes, and this takes the cake. So glad this was rectified even for a few. Itâs a truly joyous occasion to get citizenship.

Itâs well documented that trauma (and intergenerational trauma) can increase substance use. And Native people all around the world have suffered some of the worst parts of colonization, poverty, etc.
