Yup. My answer to OP was going to point out the “mostly old school Italian American” population of Clark. My ex’s stepfamily is from Clark and, more than once, I’ve heard at the dinner table references to the neighborhood potentially “changing”. Can’t imagine the convos when I wasn’t around.

I find on average my benefits are still much better than the benefits offered to my private-sector peers. Maybe it’s because we’re young and somewhere between “fresh out of college” and “season professionals”, though.

Plus I pay so little for such great health insurance coverage that I always brag about it and I prob still will even after the price hikes.

Have you considered applying for a state job? The pay might be a little lower than the private sector (depending on the position), but the benefits are outstanding. I’m sure it wouldn’t be hard for you to land something with the Department of Human Services, DOH, or DCA. Even the judiciary and OAG have entry level positions for those with bachelors. In fact, I’m sure the DOL and OIT do as well. They all should.

Just my suggestion :)

I think you’ll be fine if the ticket is just a couple weeks old. I’m the past, I’ve used tickets that were pretty old and no one said anything. I think there technically is an expiration, but I don’t think they check all that closely and again, I’m sure a ticket couple weeks old is fine.

u/PKid85, idk about a ticket from 2008 lol but I once used a ticket that was two years old successfully.

Egg bagels are top tier. Reading this poll makes me realize how long it’s been since I’ve had one. I think I’ll take a trip to Udo’s in the morning!

Everyone loves to hate on EWR (they keep ranking it as “worst large airport” or whatever) but it’s honestly not that bad. Personally, I’ve never had major issues flying in or out of EWR. Some of my worst experiences returning to the country have actually been flying into MIA & JFK.

EWR is busy but I think arriving 5 hours early is excessive, even considering that you’ll be traveling around thanksgiving. You’ll be fine arriving 3 hours early, but if you wanted to hit up any airline lounges then I’d say arrive 5 hours early. Wait times have been really poor lately with long lines and strict capacity limits.

Depending on your departure time EWR isn’t the worst airport to wait around in. There’s even a nice new terminal - I hope your flight departs from that one!
