We had a toilet like this in our shitty basement apartment in college. Ours was obviously much less stylish, but it was because the pipes were not in the floor (basement remodel in an existing building) so they needed to create space beneath for the toilet to drain. Our shower was raised up like this as well.

I was also picturing a blue room.

Wow, yeah I bet it was expensive. I always felt like I was going to slip and break a hip getting out of the shower, but the toilet was kind of fun on the throne. I’m tall, though, so I could definitely see it being worth it to spend the extra money. I had to be careful standing up so I wouldn’t bonk my head… and the times I was
hungoversick, it wasn’t fun needing to climb to the toilet to barf.
