Reply to My great aunt is selling her house, the one I grew up in. It’s falling apart and she has to move. Today is a very hard, sad day for me. I found this picture of me in the front yard with our old mustang in the 90s. I’m in tears. by Life_Roll8667

Reply to LPT request: Can anyone give me a couple ideas or things to try, that might alleviate some of the guilt and shame I (28F) feel? by magdeedz
The fact that you acknowledge your bad choices and feel badly about them shows you are an emotionally healthy human being. That you have a conscience. So take those cringe moments as a positive. The best thing you can do for yourself and for others is to move forward with your life, keep building on the good things your embracing. And try to remember that so many of us have done things we aren’t proud of. “To err is human, to forgive divine” - Alexander Pope

To be clear, it isn’t about the food, it’s about the girl. Remember: girl first, food second.

Reply to LPT: To heat yourself during the winter, have a hot water bottle on your legs while sitting down doing your work, it will conduct through the rest of your body and will heat you almost the same as a heater would do at a small fraction of the cost. Hand warmers a hood also for up to eight hours. If you use a hit water bottle, get a cover for it. BTW they make rechargeable hot water bottles now.

Another LPT, if you get lost, stay put and let the group come find you.

If we waited around for my 80 yo FIL, we’d never get anywhere. He wanders incessantly. When we need to locate him, we just call his cellphone.
