The problem I was posing was not how fast tech progresses, it was how much impact it has on society. I mean, new technology doesn't save many lives but back then new technology in agriculture, medicine in 70-80s saved billions of lives.
I think the AI inevitably will have to be deployed in a machine with some kind of writable memory (like RAM), and it would somehow copy its own model over there
Also, how can you ensure that the AI won't find the vulnerabilities in your system itself, hack your system and change the source code itself. Basically impossible when AI reached a certain level of intelligence. 🤣
