I assume you’re in a rowhome? Flat or shingled roof?

Is the rental machine blown in insulation or foam insulation?

That’s what I’m worried about, because there is no insulation above my ceiling. So it may be 100% in insulated. There is insulation that’s as added in the non shared walls at some point

I plan on it but am curious if anyone has insight. I have part of my ceiling opened up right now for renovations so it would save some trouble to insulate above the ceiling while it’s still open

Lol, I’ve worked in the best restaurants through md and dc and dined in a lot of the best restaurants in the world. I actually have extremely high standards, but unfortunately most people don’t know what good food is or let their personal biases influence their opinions.

Yea you’re definitely wrong about mediocre food, overpriced sure. A lot of their restaurants I would agree about the food being mediocre but the chef at Tagliata is incredible.

I knew people would be dismissive, I’ll never understand the hate for those guys.
Regardless of personal stances the chicken parm is great as far as chicken Parms go and the chicken Marsala is even better

Where would you say, because it is far better than 99% of chicken parm that I have had and I am a very critical diner

Unfortunately I haven’t started actually looking for contractors yet. If you find a good one that offers a reasonable rate please let me know

The mmp seems to be the worst of the programs out there, they give I think 7k for down payment assistance but the loan is a higher interest rate so it ultimately costs more than it helps

So you’re saying if my pay stubs have bonuses/incentives they will just consider my actual salary against the income threshold?

It was built between 1900 and 1920. There are some remnants of the old knob and tube but it’s not active. I plan on pulling it out while I’m up there
