Another vote for Phillips OneBlade, they trim nice & close without nicking the skin, but not so close to irritate, so long as you don't shave like a ham handed sasquatch that is.
A tip for switching to a double bladed safety razor if you do go that route though; buy a sampler pack of 5-10 different manufacturer blades & try them all, what works for everyone else, might not for you.
The online consensus when I bought mine was that the Gillette Silver/Blue & the Astra Superior Platinum were the ones to go with, best blades & most consistent.
It turned out the Astra was WAY too sharp for me, and the Silver/Blue tugged & caused irritation. I landed on the Gillette platinum & Shark Super, bought a box of the Gillette, and they are still going strong to this day.
One of the most important things too, find your interval for replacing blades. I only use mine for trimming, so I can get a solid 4-5 uses out of a blade before I need to replace it, if you go clean shaven, that might be 1-2 at most.
