Reply to Best Life Hack in Worcester? by CoolAbdul
Tetasset Ridge/God’s Acre by the airport has some awesome trails and is just enough out of the way that there’s hardly anyone there. Great place for dog walking. Tons of other green space in Worcester as well

Reply to Got a quote for a ductless mini split.. $48K for 1300 sq. ft. house. Too much? by EuclidsStairs
That seems crazy high. We’re having our entire house fully ducted from the attic, brand new 20 SEER Bosch heat pump and air handler installed for $29k. 1500sqft house, our HVAC company said that going with minisplits would have been a bit cheaper.

Reply to Getting rid of bulk waste in "off season" by Powerhelix
Seconding superior waste. We’ve gone there many times and dumped close to 3000lbs of tile from home renovation. It can be a little stressful the first time you go there but they’ll help you out navigating around the facility

We had the exact same thing happen. We called and threatened to switch hoping to get a better rate and they said ok go ahead. Since there are no other options we had to stick with them

Yeah we got the slowest fios and it’s still so much faster and more reliable than spectrum

My wife and I just moved out of the area to Hudson and got FIOS immediately. It is SO MUCH better and cheaper too. Worcester really needs to get it together with internet. Spectrum is garbage. Glad you were able to find an alternative!

Reply to As of Aug 2022, the median millennial household income was $106,661. People making at or close to the median household income that are buying houses in MA, where are you able to buy? by BoOo0oo0o
28M here, wife and I make roughly $200k pretax household. We bought in Hudson for around 500k, 20% down. Half the down payment came from equity in our first house that we bought in 2019 for 280k at 3% down
