Exactly and I'm not exactly confident with the way my government handles societal issues. Truly seems like things will be in limbo.

Yeah I agree it may not be an immediate replacement but the amount of steps to get to that point seem very minor.

I honestly like the idea of basic income, but I can't help but feel like it would stifle upward mobility. Unfortunately that may be a thing of the past until we move past the need currency.
