The federal government already pays ie:we the taxpayers already pay for railroad workers’ retirement. https://rrb.gov/

There is already a special, entirely separate system with special, extra coverage.

Should we also have to pay for the cleanup costs that the EPA and ACHD now pays to do, plus pay for the catastrophic medical care for everyone in the valley who suffers, after private companies privatize their profits but make taxpayers pay for their losses, and then take their own profits and close things down, and bolt?

20 years, a $250,000 fine, or both—for ANY amount taken by force. Though the maximums are usually reserved for large amounts stolen and/or violent actions.

Bank robbery is a federal offense, so you’d be punished pretty severely.

Heck, people get arrested for trying to pass a bad check they don’t even know the writer of the instrument can’t cover, and have been arrested for joking about robbing a bank with a teller—despite no intention to do so, nor having any weapons on them at the time.

Not just football fans. it’s Sunday (and while I know others do Friday or Saturday worship), in the past there was a great deal of pushback from religious groups who feel this is “Satan’s work” or that “masks are a tool of the devil”.

Seriously. Whole campaigns sprang up to end Sunday Halloween parties and celebrations of Hallowern events.

Then you have families whose kids are in clubs, travel sports. dance, voice and theater groups who miss out b/c rehearsals or meets are on whatever weekend day ends up being chosen.

We’re in the burbs and it’s always 6-8 pm on whatever day the 31st falls. No exceptions. But not everybody does it that way

Report it as a voter/ballot/election issue: you and your neighbors in the building can’t get a ballot in the mail, if no mail delivery happens and you can’t mail one out on time, if no mail pickups occur.

This seems like something the postal service, the county board of elections, and your local elected officials might want to know.

People who are impacted by that politician’s hatred and stated agenda. They care. They’re free to choose not to spend their money and time supporting the businesses who are actively working against them and the institutions they support, and they don’t have to give the people who may want to hurt or harm them any more validation or power than they already may have.

The business is free to put the signs up. I am free to not associate with them or to give my money to them. Others can choose to do the same. Or not.

Use dry shampoo and waterless cleansing towelettes or no-rinse liquid cleanser (sometimes called waterless bath) that you don’t need to rinse off, to feel clean. They’ll usually have those in personal hygiene sections of major pharmacies or in some larger groceries. We used those for my bedridden, blind grandmother for awhile before she agreed to get in-home care, then go to the nursing home.

In the meantime, does the townhome community have a gym/rec area that has a shower you can use? What about a nearby JCC, township rec ctr, or indoor pool that serves a community nearby? Sometimes you can pay a visitor/guest fee to use those. And if there are showers at work or your nearby church-run community center, use those.

If what is cluttering up your home is mostly garbage, maybe start there. Save the stuff you know you need to keep or use later, to sort later. It’s too much to deal with all at once. So don’t.

Even if you can’t make it spotless, make it useable and safe. Keep walkways and stairs open. Bag things. Box them. Open windows to get fresh air in to make it smell better. Throw out any garbage in the bin. Wash dirty dishes, pitch pizza boxes, take out containers, plastic wrappers. Wipe or dust things off. One thing at a time and first things first. Pick one thing per hour. Two things in the morning, two things in the afternoon. Whatever you can do.

And good luck.

Is this an ad for a make & build co-share space, where you’ll charge money fir people to use the tools/rent the space?

I’m confused about what this is.

No one should ever have to pay for a stamp to vote. That’s ridiculous.

Franking privileges for elected officials to send garbage mailings to people in their district which are just thinly veiled campaign letters, are already paid by us. And people campaigning for office are given matching funds for election/campaign purposes, which we also pay for.

Ballots mailed should cost zero to voters.

They bow hunt near here annually (to much consternation by many who don’t know about the diseases deer spread, or that where deer are there are bears and coyote that could eat their nasty, snapping, little ankle-biter nonstop barkers too)…

I love deer. They’re cute—-and also very tasty. But we have got to get these numbers their under control, for the health of the deer and for our own!

Wiltshire Park, Upper St Clair is small but lots to do. The Rec Center park on Boyce Mayview Road in Upper St Clair. If you really like nature, Robb Hollow in Mt Lebanon or Peterswood in Peters/Venetia. And South Park in Bethel/South Park is HUGE.

They sleep in our yard. They move in herds sometimes, clip clopping down the street and slipping between cars. Sleeping here draws coyotes up from the ravines. We’re dodging them left and right out here in the suburbs. Went to pick up my kid’s prescription at the pharmacy drive thru last week and on the steep hillside up above and next to me were three practically within arm’s reach. I rolled up my window, jic they decided they liked my flowers in the bouquet sitting on the seat next to me and tried to fight me for it.

No joke, they ate my phlox and hostas to the ground right in front of me while I was sitting outside grilling on the patio, last spring. I yelled, I turned the hose on them, banged pots together. They just stared at me. Two neighbors on this street have collided with deer in the last few weeks. One in their driveway, another after they pulled up to a stop sign. They’re EVERYWHERE.

Show her ht scrub her search history, use incognito or private browsing mode, or a VPN. Have her change every password to every online bill pay, shopping, or social media site she’s using. And tell her to block the abusers numbers, not answer texts or calls that get through, and to get off social media, including posting pics of herself out and about.

Don’t let her get caught when her abuser checks her online and phone footprint/history. Because they will.

Many groups are open to the general public to join. Some are closed/available only to those in a school district or on a campus, and their invitees.

It’s like a Meetup group, but with area organizers, centered around performing charity or volunteering in the community vs. meeting up to go hiking together, or to attend a cultural event.

Friends in PA elsewhere have participated, and in OH not too far from here. I’m not certain where chapters here are located.
