Zo's in Assembly Row is the best restaurant in the Boston region of it in terms of value and quality. Full bar, great Greek menu, solid service. You can get out with entrees and drinks for under $60.

Saloon in Davis square is. Fun cocktail bar and Davis sq is a great place to bar hop. So many bars with different vibes.

Best piece of baby carrying equipment: baby carrying hiking back pack (osprey makes a great one). Once your baby can support their head with confidence, get one and open up the entire region. I opted for the hiking backpack 100% of the time over the stroller. Your hands are free. You view in front of you by your feet is open. And you don't take up as much space. It's much easier to get around the tight sidewalks around town.

I've been to the free skates at Veterans memorial on Somerville Ave in Somerville. This summer they had free skate on Monday and Wednesday from 2-4pm. It was pretty crowded with beginner level figure skaters practicing their routines. The website is always up to date with when open skates are.
