Reply to Any reccos for a Philly tax accountant who can help a NY-remote employee file properly? by BearBong
Bill Dougherty. I'm a fellow remote NYC worker in Philly and he's done a great job with my taxes (especially the part where my payroll company was still pulling NYC/NYS resident taxes and absolutely no PA/Philly taxes for 2 goddamn years).

Reply to I’m kind of a craft beer noob, but I think it might be my new thing. What are the best breweries/taphouses in the Philly metro? by SculpinIPAlcoholic
Some of my faves were already mentioned but I'll throw them up again: Human Robot, Triple Bottom Brewing, ARS, Love City
Just across the Delaware is Forgotten Boardwalk. They do some very creative brews with an amazing boardwalk-themed taproom; it's well-worth the visit. For non-breweries, Memphis Taproom is a special fave (go for brunch and get the kielbasa breakfast platter), and I love the Garden at Cherry Street Pier (mostly for the environment, but they serve a good number of local beers).
I'll also give some love to Philadelphia Brewing Company. Yes, they're not the best beers I've ever had (my spouse describes the Kenzinger as "what would be in a plain can just labeled 'Beer'"), but it's very spacious and just kind of a nice outdoor hang where you don't feel on top of anybody. Plus they get some great food trucks that come by. It's probably not worth a specific trip, but if you're in the neighborhood I'd at least drop by.

Reply to Hair salons by synthetikxangel
I'm not sure what brand of color they use, but I go to Wendy at Sage Hair Collective in Old City for vibrants and she's been fantastic (currently rocking purple, but I've done a couple different galaxy/mermaid combos with her). They also send you home with the leftover color so you can do touch-ups at home between visits (which is perfect for my incredibly lazy/procrastinating self)
