Starting your apology by giving an interview to a misogynistic, homophobic, transphobic nut job is definitely a choice.

Didn’t realize that pedestrians controlled the streets anywhere in the US, even Manhattan.

They did a good job after somebody in the left lane decided to turn right…into my car.

Not sure why you’re getting downvoted. Yes, it puts school kids in danger but parking in a crosswalk also means this person is blocking an ADA curb ramp so anybody using a mobility assistance device is also being put in harms way. This is a complete dick move no matter where it happens. Also shocking to me that there’s a feeling that it’s fine to do this overnight so long as you move the car before 6 AM or something as if people never leave the house when it’s dark out.

NJTA would be taking out low-interest (i.e. federally subsidized) loans in order to build this project. To say there are no federal funds isn’t really true.

Reply to Moving to JC next month, I’ll be living 20 seconds away from JSQ Path. I work on 53rd street in NYC, what’s my best bet to getting there? by [deleted]
That’s basically my commute right now (except I go to Lexington Ave-53rd St). It really is basically exactly the same amount of time whether you take the train to WTC or to 33rd so, like a bunch of others said, I would generally just recommend taking whichever one comes first BUT, I would also recommend signing up for MTAAlerts because there have definitely been days where I take the train to 33rd and the M is messed up or I take the train to WTC and the 4/5/6 is messed up.
Most of the time I just bike from Herald Square unless the weather is bad but Citibike availability can be very hit or miss.
