Credit means a creditor is literally lending you their money. They have enough cash flow and assets to borrow against to do that. Same as a house or car loan.
Debit cards spend money that is specifically yours, held by the bank.

You fantasize about running over bikers because you want to go 35 in a 25, and can’t stand going 19 instead?
Totally mentally stable

I think it’s mostly the rainy weather causing a little extra traffic in NNJ. Can’t speak on the trains, though.

I’m pretty sure it’s the same in Michigan

Reply to comment by Charyou-Tree in In the US, many eligible voters have to not only register to vote, but re-register to vote. Automatic voter re-registration – which targets those already registered rather than all eligible nonregistrants – would on its own increase turnout in the US by 5.8 percentage points. by smurfyjenkins
Because they want the harder working & busier citizens to vote less often.
It’s literally the only logical explanation. It’s a political calculation done by all those in power. If it would benefit a party to make voting more accessible, they would change it when it power.

Sounds like they know somebody with the company, got an “affordable” housing rate with the building, or just getting $ help from someone. The first two I bc they said specifically for this building.

Reply to Moving to JC next month, I’ll be living 20 seconds away from JSQ Path. I work on 53rd street in NYC, what’s my best bet to getting there? by [deleted]
They’re going to be similar in time on the weekdays. One might beat the other by 5 minutes in a given situation.
WTC option will be a little less crowded and that station is way nicer and cleaner than 33rd st. I would prefer it slightly.
If the weather is nice I would also consider walking from 33rd st. Saves you 2.75 and is a nice 20-30 min walk. It would only add 5-10 mins to the commute overall.
