Oh, he's been on a diet trust me. When I first got him a couple years back he was even bigger. He's also asthmatic and takes meds which makes him put on weight. This is why I'm especially proud and surprised that he was able to catch a mouse!
The COVID finally got me and it got me good. I stayed away from everyone and suffered while my cat attended to me. I watched half of 3 different movies and cannot focus. Happy holidays!
