Thanks! I got the hangers off eBay. Search for "wood headphone hanger" and scroll a bit, a bunch of Chinese sellers have them. I wanted a more homely look, so I glued and pinned mine to some wooden discs (bark and all) meant for Christmas decorations. These in turn are fastened to the wall with a screw each.

Beefy headphones are cozy. It's like a hug for your head! IEMs never rise above tolerable and often get uncomfortable after a while.

I get similar issues if I listen to my headphones all day for several days in a row. If I cut back, it quickly goes away. I'm no doctor, but I think ears just need some air every once in a while.
