Metallica - Nothing Else Matters
Not a pop song tho; but it’s pretty fun to learn. Lots of complex sounding parts that are relatively not complex lol hope that makes sense.

Lyrics are what you interpret them as. Metallica’s one is based off a book/movie about anti-war propaganda. Which the book is fantastic, as is the song. The meaning behind One is anti-death or anti-war. Which seems like someone can support; and that’s a fact, but you might interpret that differently than what it actually was meant for, which is fine.
My favorite band is Satanic. But I’m not satanic, I’m more anti-religion, but accepting of 1 god. I think religion divides more than anything, which satanism kind of indulges from Ghost’s (the band) perspective.
Another band I like is very satanic, and sings about worshipping satan. Which is not for everyone, but I enjoy it; but I also like contemporary R&B and country lol.
Anyway, the point is, if you limit yourself, you’re limiting the experience music brings.

Reply to thoughts on 2000s pop-punk? by 1nternetP3rson
Looking back I like Paramore, not sure if they’re pop-punk, but I guess it fits the bill.
Straight up punk, I’d say At The Drive In (Relationship of Command) is probably the best punk rock album I’ve ever heard.

Lianne La Havas - [It’s what you don’t do](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=DNLkD8QEnAM Her latest two albums are fantastic. She’s one of my favorite current artist.
Royal Blood - Little monster, these guys rock pretty hard and are also from the UK. They got pretty popular here in the states for awhile. Awesome 2 man band.

Whatever songs I like, I dive into that album. BUT, I 100% expect not to like other albums due to changing of tone, etc.
I suggest listening to albums. I listened to 500+ plus last year, and 100% changed my perspective on listening to albums vs just songs. Sometimes you find real gems on albums you would’ve never liked unless you listened.
