This is a misconception. There are limits to where we can theoretically travel, because space is expanding and light is the speed limit, but the shape of the universe is a question that has been examined at length. FF to the end, and the concept of an “end of the universe”, as a place one could theoretically travel to, while cool conceptually for sci-fi, isn’t really a thing.

You want a discussion on this topic, but your major contribution seems to be: “Like, wow, man! Space is so vast! How can I even? Heat death? Yo! Clearly, then, God, right?” Kind of a non-starter, mate.

Let’s pick a starting point. In your mind, what, specifically about space requires a creator? Bonus: what does that tell us about said creator?”

Your entire relationship came second to some situation you won’t even bother explaining. SHE came second. Most of your post is about how she was perfect for you, not about how good you were together.

From here, feels like you have some growing to do. Sure, you made the last move that ended things, but it was already happening. It was going to end. Trite as it sounds, you are young. Hopefully you will learn from this, and your next relationship will be stronger.

Contracting gig in the 90’s with one of my best regular clients at the time. Printer issue. Works fine for about half the company, is about 80% for everyone else. Ad agency. Their main color printer. Kind of a big deal. 3 DAYS at roughly $100/hr plus a 90 minute rush hour commute.

…it was a dip switch. “Click. Problem solved.” I basically refused to bill them for $2000 of my time out of shame.

Not in motion… in comparison to what?

I know it can seem like a silly question, but bear with me. Most people who haven’t thought a lot about relativity are going to be confused by the question. Because every time they’ve thought about motion the earth has served as a frame of reference. Things have always been “at rest” or “in motion” in relation to the earth. It’s natural to extend this to the universe at large and ask, what is the reference frame for the universe. And what, if anything is at rest in relation to it.

Minor problem. There is no universal reference frame. This is what the Michealson-Morley (sp?) experiment, that “proved” Einstein’s theory of relativity failed to show. They were trying to measure earths motion against the reference frame and… there was no there, there. Science is pretty cool.
