If you think the confederate terrorist sympathizers are going to be the ones stooping over to pick up your poo then you’re a fool, more than likely it’d be some poor black custodian or groundskeeper. That’s why I’m saying to think about who’s actually affected by your actions. Daryl Davis has converted tons of kkk members by talking to them: an actual, measurable change for the better. Y’all threw a fit and acted like children and got some statues taken down: a hollow victory. But please, start throwing feces around and get back to me to let me whose mind you’ve changed and what you accomplished to make things better other than feeling good about yourself for a moment and giving you something to brag about on social media.

What would that accomplish? Most likely somebody who has nothing to do with what you’re angry about having to clean up that mess. Find constructive ways to vent your anger where the people who actually deserve it are the ones affected.
