>5. Seagulls will explode if they eat Alka-Seltzer

>There’s a long-held belief that if you feed a seagull an indigestion tablet, they will violently explode in a ball of feathers. The alleged science behind this theory is that seagulls are unable to pass wind, and the indigestion remedy therefore causes a volatile build-up of gases in the seagull’s stomach.

>However, there’s a major flaw in this pseudo-science. A bird’s diet may not require them to pass wind, but this doesn’t mean they aren’t equipped to do so. Also, gulls are experts at regurgitating their food, and could easily evict an Alka-Seltzer from the stomach if they found themselves in discomfort.

>Consider this myth well and truly busted.

But has anybody actually fed them one, especially when it starts fizzying up inside of their stomachs?

For an unlawful eviction. In the UK changing the locks without a court order. Would result in an urgent court order to allow the tennant back in and substantial fines in the region of £2,000. And that's just for being locked out over a weekend. Before getting a court order on the Monday.

But the prisoners are in their cells and will never leave them again. Except for legal hearings by video and for punishment in the isolation cells.

The biggest problem is thst with 100 prisoners per cell and only 80 bunks. They're going to be ultra-violently fighting for each bunk and food. As well as being bored out of their skulls. With the only entertianmnet being torturing the other prisoners.

My robot vac is so quiet that it can hoover in the middle of the night and nobody can hear it. All it needs, is its bin emptying about once a week and to be moved from upstairs to downstairs. Eventually I'll get around to getting one with a mopping feature and have one for upstairs and one for downstairs. But as the house gets hovered twice a day it's always immaculate. A Shark cleaner can't compete, as it would just never get used as much.

But 1 in 24 people is an active service, armed paramilitary?

I could understand it, if they were disaster workers. Dealing with the annual monsoon, typhoon season and the occasional earthquake. The only countries that they have to worry about is Burma (Myanmar) and to a lesser extent PRC as they don't share a border with PRC. Who would have to go through India and Bhutan to get to Bangladesh.

The US isn't going to invade China.

So that leaves fighting Chinese forces in Taiwan and in and around the various island chains.

The USMC has now gotten rid off all of their tanks, reducing the number of F-35s that they're buying.... In order to increase their ability to fight in the Pacific. With weapons such as self-driving trucks launching Norwegian/Naval Strike Missile. Which is an anti-ship missile and later versions also have a land attack capability. So the USMC expects to get involved in a shooting war.

Probably the biggest cause of death for Sperm Whales is getting hit by a boat and its propellers.

>Sperm whales (Physeter macrocephalus), currently listed as a vulnerable species, are severely impacted by ship strikes. Nearly 60% of sperm whales’ deaths are due to ship strikes in the Canary Islands.

The figures will vary by region but if a Sperm Whale doesn't get washed ashore. There's little way to know how it died or that it actually died. The other leading causes of death seem to be pollution, marine debris and malnutrition probably caused by us over fishing.

It's probably the medicines that are Switzerland's most important export (although not in dollar terms).

But really it's about Western sanctions on China. When they've done an other crackdown on the Ughyurs, stolen more Western tech or invaded Taiwan.

Plucking figures out of my ass. I'd say there's probably a 50% chance of almost total sanctions by the end of the decade. The USAF General in charge of Air Mobility Command (transport and air to air refueling). Estimates that the war with China could be as early as 2025.
