Your cost of living will depend on your circumstances. Are you living with someone to share rent, etc.? If not, rent will consume a substantial amount of income. Are you someone who cooks at home on a budget well or are you someone who buys coffee on your way to work, grabs takeout for lunch, and goes out for dinner most days? How will you get around the area? Will you need to factor in car payments and insurance?

Harm reduction? Yes. I am in fact a huge fan of people struggling with addiction having access to medical care and safe places to use. I’d rather they not die. I didn’t realize compassion was considered bias and hatred but the internet teaches me new things every day!

Take a look at the other comments. Almost to the one, the suggestions for “worst” are cities which are populated by predominantly Black and brown people. Nearly every time those cities come up on this sub, it’s in the context of how dAnGeRoUs and ScArY they are. That feels shitty to me. So, truly, Millburn/Short Hills takes my vote for worst. It’s small, trafficky, and adds very little to our state and its culture.

For something like this, two weeks at basically minimum wage, a lawyer may be of limited use but the DOL makes filing a complaint on your own really easy. I’ve had to do it myself before.

Agree with this. There really isn’t much “local” and “good” around there.

Every house in my neighborhood with a tank has had it removed and remediated by the seller before transfer. It would be ridiculous to take on the liability of a potentially leaking tank from someone else.

I think the other commenter may be thinking of Warren County. Assuming that you are referring to the township of Warren, conveniently located along 78, it’s beautiful. A decent mix of open spaces and suburb. Easy to get other places.
