Reply to Is it even worth washing the salt off my car if it’s still on the road? It’s caked with salt… by PivotalPosture
Definitely wash off the salt when it's warm enough to do so, nothing will rust out your car faster than letting it sit covered in road salt.

Not a problem, our unemployment system is all outta whack and has been for years, changing the rules in the middle of the emergency relief benefits just made it worse.

You just need to keep track of your job search/interview history, they usually only ask for verification if you're filing for an extension.
Right now all you need to do every week is fill out two applications, do one job search activity (this includes spending time searching on indeed, Linkin etc) , and file your weekly certification. Also register on the Career Links website if you haven't already.

Oh I know. I worked in an office for 8 years and I can not get a call back to save my freaking life right now. 100s of applications and nothing.

FYI, the law states that you must complete 2 applications and one work search activity per week(this includes searching jobs on indeed, Linkin etc), and register on the Career links site within 30 days.
You only submit that info if asked, which you'd do through the PA Unemployment portal where you file your weekly benefits claim. Normally they'll only ask for verification of your employment searches if you're seeking an extension.
Otherwise continue to file your weekly certification and make sure you're logged into whatever job search engine you're using so it's keeping track of your application history.

Reply to The Jan. 6 panel referred Scott Perry to the House Ethics Committee for failing to comply with subpoenas to compel his testimony in the probe by JBupp
Remember guys it took over 2 years from the time of the arrest at the Watergate hotel for articles of impeachment to pass congress. This is 100 times bigger than that ever dreamed of being.
If they rush through this and lose everything on some stupid technicality because someone forgot to cross a t or dot an i everyone complaining it's taking too long will be losing their mind that the key players are walking.
Let them keep trying and convicting civilian insurrectionists, every guilty is another hook in the mouth of the big fish.
Because I don't think for a second these half wits are holding their silence on who, what, where and when. They're too confident and too proud of what they did. Every person who was on Dougie's bus that gets a guilty verdict is an ironclad count of aiding in the attempt of an insurrection for him.
Once the little fish are all gathered the mid level boys will start to get scooped up. Guys who have money and power put no political ties. Then those guys lead into the politicians because they'll jump on a reduction in their sentence to give solid evidence against the politicians.
It's gonna be a domino effect and there are way too many bones in this yard for this to be a quick setup. Give it time to play out.

Reply to As a 15 year old am I legally allowed to obtain a learners permit by QuarterFearless5704
This is one of those funny things that's a carryover from when almost all schools had in-house driver's Ed.
You can enroll in a student driver course with a PA licenced instructor at 15 years of age. With your enrollment you will be eligible to obtain your permit and begin building your required supervised driving hours, but you must pass the written permit test as part of your enrollment, if you don't pass the knowledge test, no early permit/driving school.
If you do pass and get a permit you will have to complete the student driver school and have a certificate of completion to present at the DMV to schedule your road test. The road test cannot be taken until you are 15.5, so around July 22.
If you pass your road test you can indeed be a licensed driver before 16.
If you cannot enroll in a driving school you're basically SOL until your 16th birthday.
