Happened where though? In his head? In an alternate dimension? Purgatory? The same "other side" that the people (and Nora) went to? Was he alive and teleported or dead and there?
I just think "real" is too finite a concept. Of course it did happen (we watched it!) but I don't know that it was real.

That's because the show is about the box, not what's inside it.
(I can't tell if this is profound or totally vacuous, sorry.)

Define "real"

Nora's story is purposefully ambiguous but that doesn't mean we're supposed to ignore the mystery. The mystery is the point.

Doing a Lost spin-off at a different Dharma site always seemed like a pretty interesting idea to me.

Yeah, for the record: In retrospect, I think it’s easy to love Nikki and Paolo when you understand that their introduction is leading to a fun, dark-comedy murder send-off instead of more overwrought mythology/mystery box stuff. (Which I also love, but Lost had enough of that already.)

Lost fans don't hate Expose. They hate how Nikki and Paolo were parachuted into the season in general.
Expose is actually a great episode: fun and campy (and just the right amount of cruelty, considering the negative reaction to Nikki & Paolo) and a perfect eject button for two characters that simply weren't working on the show.

It's one of my favourite seasons of television ever, so you won't get any real argument from me on that... But I think Dark Shadows and Christmas Waltz aren't quite on the same level as the preceding episodes.
The Other Woman and Commissions and Fees are brilliant, of course.

Mad Men, Season 5: "Signal 30" into "Far Away Places" into "At the Codfish Ball" into "Lady Lazarus".
That's as good as television gets, right there.

New Girl didn't cut him; he shot the pilot before Happy Endings was renewed. When it was, New Girl chose not to recast the role and introduced Winston in the second episode to replace Coach. Wayans returned to New Girl when Happy Endings was cancelled.

I don't know why people have these bizarre conspiracies about George and the books. He is writing them. It's taking a long time. That's the truth.

“Amazing” is putting it lightly! On a short list of the best novels of the 21st century, I think.

Even if it were a real quote, a show aiming to appeal a broad audience is not a bad thing.
