Engineering the human body, altered sense organs and durability.
Still petty human behavior but hopefully less violence and hunger and suffering.
Hoping we make it that far and many of the people and animals for today survive.

And a CZ is indistinguishable from a diamond by sight, yet people don’t want them. They want to think they have something unique, rare and valuable.

If we could pinpoint some genes that enhance peace and empathy, including those would be good for humanity. This is far off if ever possible.
I think if we are around a million years from now we will be far different from what we are now. Taking control of our evolution and likely heavy use of biomedical engineering.

Kind of. If we could remove traits that lead to brutal dictators, rapists, torturers, yes.

I think it would be a step in deliberate evolution. How can we incision expanding into the galaxy and meeting. Other alien civilizations, and being like - oh yeah by the way, this is how we treat each other. Can we make contact now?
Makes me pessimistic on humanity.

If only we could remove our propensity for violence, wars and greed that allows so many to force others suffering.
