ER: Secrets and Lies from S8. I don’t get how so many people love it? Most of the characters in that episode act like they’re 12 years old and discovered sex for the first time. And why Carter and Luka would want to fight over Crabby Abby is beyond me anyway.
I also didn’t like The Good Fight from S5 with Carter and Lucy chasing their tails to find the father of the girl with the rare blood type…only to find out he was in the diner across the street the whole team.
Golden Girls: Been watching this a lot lately since I’ve been laid off and it’s good comfort TV. But I have never liked the two-parter in S4 where Sophia marries Max. They have no chemistry and it’s so awkward and forced. (Dis)honorable mention to the Empty Nest plot in S2 as well.
Got laid off two weeks ago. I was last unemployed before the pandemic so they still have all my old contact info on file. I think it’s absurd that you can’t even update your own address and phone number without calling or filling out a form at CareerLink that you can only fill out once. Well I am going to be moving soon, so…that sounds illogical. I think they went wayyy too far with the new “fraud prevention” measures.
Thanks! I am super baffled by the whole thing. My mom lost her job in April and went through a similar wait. It’s worse that my company did this before Christmas (not that there is a good time of course) and I’m stuck navigating all this.
I honestly have no desire to try and scheme the system by seeking unemployment from a job that I left on my own because I had a new better paying job. 😂I don’t even have so much as a speeding ticket lol. This is so maddening.
